Product Description

Our Premium 13"x5" Lace Frontals are thick and full of our highest quality virgin hair. Our virgin hair is hair that is collected from a single, young donor who has never treated their hair (dyed or permed). We minimally wash it, dry it, sew it, and pack to send to you; no treatment in any way, ever. That is the definition of virgin hair, and ensures yours will last up to two or three years if taken good care of. All of our frontals come with sew-in baby hair for a more natural hairline to blend with your style. Our machine double-sew process ensures no shedding and a quality stitch that keeps up with your busy #HairLife. Our virgin hair ends are not broken or split. As all virgin hair IS remy hair (cuticles align in the same, natural direction), this hair will not tangle if properly maintained.

Once my order is placed, how long will it be before I receive my hair?

We process, package, and ship your premium hair out within 24 hours. You can decide standard (3+ days) or expedited (1-3 days) shipping on the check-out page. Please note that we try to keep a minimum reserve for all of our products, but very rarely a rush of orders comes before we can manufacture new products and update our website’s availability. Our premium, hand-sewn wigs take up to 30 days to make and ship. We will issue your tracking number once your hair has been shipped.

What is your return/exchange policy?

You may find our return policy at JVH Return Policy.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email us at media@justvirginhair.com, send us a DM on Instagram or Messenger, or call us at 833-584-4247 (5-11PM PST).

How many extensions do I need?

All lengths are sold by weight at 100 grams (about 3.5 oz) per bundle. This means longer lengths will need more bundles to have a fuller look as the wefts decrease in width. We recommend at least two bundles for 10-14 inches, three bundles for 16-22 inches, and four bundles for greater than 24 inches. For an even thicker, fuller looks, an added bundle will do the trick. Please see this chart:

How long does virgin hair last?

Our premium virgin hair can last for a very long time depending on how you maintain it. Treat it like your own hair and take very good care of it for it to last longer. If you take great care of your hair, it lasts for up to two years.

Can virgin hair be permed, straightened, curled, or anything dealing with high heat?

Yes, slay away with the curling iron. Unlike synthetic hair which cannot survive heat, or remy hair which can degrade quickly, virgin hair is never-processed human hair - it can handle most any normal salon processes. However, do condition your hair and don't heat it too frequently; any natural hair will get dry and tangled if abused.

Can I go swimming with my hair?

That’s the beauty of virgin hair! You may go into swimming pools and hot tubs and come out with natural, slick hair. We recommend wearing your hair down and to wash it afterwards to remove residual chemicals. Avoid salt water as salt de-moisturizes your hair and can lead to tangling. Braiding your hair and swimming in salt water is strongly advised against.

Can I color/dye my virgin hair?

Yes, and not just once but multiple times. We recommend that you visit a trained professional to color or process your hair to minimize damage and prolong your hair’s lifespan. If you use harsh chemicals or bleach, please take care to protect the underlying netting, as it will become brittle. You may use various techniques to post-color the netting for a better blend with the color of your hair post-dyed.

What type of hair care products should I use?

We don’t recommend any specific products, just remember:

  1. Use good quality shampoo and conditioners.
  2. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable, so use leave-in conditioners.
  3. You can use gel or hairspray to keep your curls in place, but make sure to wash your hair and not leave in these products in for a long time.

Do I have to do anything special in the morning?

We advise you to comb your hair every morning, gently brushing your hair from the ends towards your scalp. Starting from the ends keeps the pressure off the sewn-in area and is a good way to maintain the longevity of the extensions.

Do I have to do anything special at night?

Definitely do NOT sleep with wet hair. Doing so will matte the hair, making it difficult to style the next time. Just make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to sleep and you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Rolling your hair in rods at night will maintain your curls and limit the amount of heat you must use daily.

Is there a human vs. synthetic test hair I could perform?

Since human hair has natural proteins, it will turn into an ash after burning it and lightly rubbing it around. It’ll smell terrible and will emit a white smoke. Make sure to remove from your head before trying this test; we’re not responsible if you decide to start burning things. Lastly, human hair may have very few gray strands and split ends - It is natural and not indicative of quality.

Synthetic hair, on the other hand, will emit black smoke and turn into a sticky, plastic-like mesh.

How often can I wash my hair?

Twice a week or more is better. Remember to wash all the way to the scalp, including your natural hair, building up a good lather.

Why does my virgin hair have a brown tinge or hue to it? Why did I find a white hair?

Unless it’s a rare batch, most natural black hair carries a little bit of a brown undertone to it, especially under a bright light. You can force it darker through dye, but most casual observers will see only black. Natural black hair may contain a rogue strand of white hair, even when cut from a young woman. It’s nature, happens to the best of us; please carefully yank it out if unwanted.
